+3 moreThis custom firefighter axe from Williams CNC sits proudly on my shelf, and the neon pink LED running along the blade is absolutely stunning—catches every bit of light and makes it a real conversation starter. The engraved maltese cross and 'Retired Fire Chief' text on the handle are crisp and professional, honoring the career perfectly. It's the kind of piece that feels personal and handmade in the best way.
Just hung this custom laser-engraved axe in my workshop and it's become a real conversation starter. The detail Williams CNC burned into the head is sharp and intricate—way more refined than I expected. It's equal parts functional tool and art piece, and I catch myself just looking at it when I'm working.

Just hung this rustic welcome sign above our front door and it's become an instant conversation starter. Williams CNC nailed the craftsmanship—it feels substantial and warm in a way mass-produced stuff just doesn't.

Birch ply substrate, calligraphy V-carved at 0.12", milk-paint wash, satin poly. Customer wanted the date in roman numerals which I had to convince myself was fine. It was fine.

The laser gets you 95% there but the cusps where letters meet always need a chisel touch. Five minutes per piece of hand-work doubles the perceived quality.

First end-grain board in 6 months — milled the squares oversized, glued in a checkerboard, flattened on the CNC, then routed the juice groove. Howard's wax + mineral oil for finish.

1/4" endmill at 18k RPM, 80 IPM, 0.05" DOC. Dust collection caught about 90% — the other 10% is on me. Maple chips clean way nicer than pine ever did.
