Being the owner of Hickory Wind Woodcraft, I’m located in the Cave Run lake region in Eastern Kentucky.I am a retired custom cabinet and furniture maker with 30 years experience. All of my material is locally sourced with a large amount from my own farm. Living close to the hardwood capital of Kentucky, Morehead does have advantages. My main interests now are power carving boards and bowls along with lathe work, one of a kind original pieces. I also do bandsaw boxes and various keepsake boxes as well as canes and walking sticks. I am always interested in hearing about a custom order you may have. Or, if you have questions about an item or want additional photos just send a email and I’ll do my best.
